Indianapolis's Luck as a "Newly Forged Horseshoe" for 2012 Colts Run

The Colts had been a force in the NFL for about a decade going into the 2011 season. For anyone who didn’t believe that QB Peyton Manning was the main piece to this puzzle of success that even produced a Super Bowl ring for Indianapolis, 2011 serves as a pretty powerful evidence proving that theory was something more than just a tall tale. Whether it was QBs Kerry Collins, Curtis “I should have been a” Painter, or Dan Orlovsky they couldn’t make reads like Manning to recognize defenses, they couldn’t make adjustments on the line like Manning to shift skill players for maximum production, and their release wasn’t quick like Manning’s to make protection at worst a simple task. Tto think I was ridiculed for making Peyton the 2010 MVP ahead of Brady. Indy’s 2011 squad couldn’t pull 11 wins like QB Matt Cassel did for the Pats when Brady was hurt back in the 2008 season.
